I am a recipient of the MITTENSS Fellowship in its second year cohort. My bio for the program can be found here.

As a MITTENSS fellow, I complete additional coursework in pursuit of an education policy specialization for my PhD. I also participate in speaker series, present research to my colleagues, report my findings to the IES and work with a faculty advisor (Dr. Sarah Reckhow) on generating research relevant to the program. In my fourth year, I will partner with a state agency in an apprenticeship to aid in answering questions of their interest.

Currently, I am co-authoring a descriptive piece on the growing polarization of education policymaking at the state level with Drs. Leslie Finger and Sarah Reckhow.
